Plus the smell of it just sparks the senses much more than other materials. I completely agree. The smell of leather is wonderful has always been wonderful to me, I guess beginning when I was as a kid with my first baseball gloves, then later buying my first leather winter gloves. And, of course, entering the scene especially in the '70s and '80s with many Mistresses in black leather corsets and thigh-high boots, especially in their print ads. In the '90s I remember the name of a dungeon Mistress Belle de Jour was affiliated with, "Leather Ladies" in Chelsea and later on 14th Street. Ironically two ladies I sessioned with there did NOT wear leather. Go figure.
