This is a hands-on, intensive workshop so space will be extremely limited.
Kinbaku is a Japanese form of rope bondage that involves the deeper side of tying, an engagement with a partner to exchange energy and emotion, while tying in artisan style. It is a preeminent skill behind rope bondage that is overlooked in many basic rope classes that will be the partial focus of the instruction.
InstructorDK (Delilah Knotty) or Blackfish (performance/photography name), a scene member since 2000, traveled to Japan in 2017 to begin learning Shibari from artists Kazami Ranki, Kasoumi Hourai, and Ottonawa.
Past instructors include but are not limited to: Hajima Kinoko, Kazami, Kanna, and Master Osada Steve from Japan.
-Affiliated with the Los Angeles based Devil Mask Society.
-Recent work: rope suspension for UnBound, an Immersive Kink Opera held in Palm Springs, tied for an independent video production 'No Time to Die' and is planning to perform at Safe Word Los Angeles in November, sponsored by Mistress Kimono Rapture.
