Yes, there are several drawbacks to paid social media and having to make a choice who to follow is one of them. On My paid social, most of the posts are free so you can follow for free and keep up with everything. The subscription fee (if you choose to pay it) gets you access to all the clips in My store and interaction like Task Tuesdays. If more providers would take a similar approach, I think the paid social media option would be more viable. No one wants to log in to see a bunch of locked boxes and few have the resources to pay to see the posts of every Domme that interests them.

I think paid social with have some serious growing pains. My approach is use it like Twitter and monetize content you couldn't put on Twitter anyway. There are so many ways to monetize content, and even activities, on AVN that it can be almost a one stop shop if utilized properly.
