For what it's worth, I never used Eros or TER when researching the possibility of seeing a new Domme. I simply don't trust either site and unless you area member the information is thin.

While there are some phony BS reviews here on MF & DominaMs, there are also some that are very worthwhile. There is also the opportunity to PM a review author for additional info.

I have written a number of reviews here and have had many PMs from MF members asking me for some information. That along with the information available at Domme websites and their social media platforms is more than enough for me.

Point of clarification... They would allow an "8" rating without jobs (I believe minimum rating was tied to checkboxes you selected as part of review process as well as statements you made in the review). Verbiage associated with guidance is probably what you are thinking of, but I never had an "8" review rejected whereas I did get "9" or "10" reviews with same wording rejected (rejection meant the ability to go in, edit/adjust, and resubmit for approval without having to restart from scratch).

This site was just being discussed on MF. My experience with them was horrible. It was about 15 years ago. Things may have changed. At least back then, a review could only get so many points if sexual conduct occurred. Men had incentives to post these types of reviews. I had never heard of the site when my phone started ringing off the hook with odd requests. It was getting to be pretty creepy and, I couldn't understand where it was coming from or, why. Then, one of my long term clients called and, said, "I didn't know you offered XYZ! I've been missing out!" Turns out, he was a member of TER. A first time client from a few weeks earlier had posted a review that said we did XZY. I asked TER to remove me entirely from their site. Nope. They wanted nothing to do with a women's request for anything. All I wanted was no affiliation with the site. I reached out to the client who posted the review. He said that the thought he was doing me a favor by adding sexual activity to the review so that I'd get a higher rating. I didn't believe his lying about our sessions was a selfless act to help me. Anyway, he and, my other client were able to get the review removed. I have never dealt with such a misogamist group of people than the owner and, admins at TER. They don't care who they are endangering. If a woman doesn't want to be listed on their site, they shouldn't be forced. I was often alone at wee hours in the morning at my studio and, didn't want to be listed on a site that was escort based. At least back then, they even had reviews for street walkers. Nothing against street walkers but, I don't want to be advertised on the same site. I found them to be entirely creepy. Again, this was over a decade go. Maybe ownership has changed hands by now. But, I cringe whenever that site's name is mentioned.

Few people read the fine print these days. A while ago I was about to buy something from IWantClips. Out of curiosity I read their privacy statement and it was a real turn off. I gave up on it.

It's always interesting to me that people would feel more safe with a site knowing that reviews are *fake* than reading a Dommes's own website. Like, what's stopping a Domme from making a bunch of profiles on TER and writing her own reviews?

I'm a fine print reader. And when I read something, or even have a strong hunch, that concerns me, I usually share it with people. Surprisingly, it seems that some people don't seem to care about things that can compromise their privacy and safety.

I mean, we have Eros rejecting very mild photos and links to websites, but adding a text box where you can add the services you offer at the same time they are requiring face shots.

Now, TER is back followed by Backpage.

All while everyone is foaming at the mouth about sex trafficking and appropriating sex workers as "trafficked", FOSTA/SESTA is still law, and there are stings happening against consenting adults. Yet everyone is still using these sites. It just screams "trap" to me and I have said this to people and they act like they don't care.
