I think it would add to the value of the forum if participants would put a location to their profile. It doesn't have to be your exact location but knowing at least what region someone is in helps put their opinions and ideas in context.
It helps to know if you are in Germany or Des Moines. At least to me.

It helps to know if you are in Germany or Des Moines. At least to me. Will do. But my opinions come from where I lived just about all of my life, NYC. Putting FLA under the location probably won't help much.

Also, is there a reason I have to click on every reply in a topic to read it? I'd love to just be able to scroll and have everyone's replies visible. Your profile probably has Topic Display Mode set to Threaded, which gives you a tree of individual posts that you have to click on. You want it to display in Flat Mode, which is just one big display of all responses in a thread. On my computer (not sure if it will work the same on a phone): 1. Click on the My Stuff link along the top band 2. Click on Edit Preferences 3. Topic Display Mode is the fifth one down. Change it to Flat Mode 4. ??? 5. Profit

Dammit!!! Here I could be all good and responsive and earn ssome brownie points right when I need then (er... This isn't the FTT forum right?.. good, cause "brownie points" have a totally different meaning in that context)... But, alas, I did that when I first joined several years ago.
HEY... maybe I can create several other accounts and put locations on those... I mean it worked when I did it on Twitter to avoid a punishment cause You couldn't break the 8000 follower barrier...
