I'm starting this thread partially for My Own selfish reasons, but also to educate and give others a place to vent and/or express their opinions. Dommes and subs are welcome to participate and add new threads to this one. I know subs have loves and hates as well and they are welcome here too. I will get things started.

Love - When subs send one concise email regarding a potential session. I have an application process and I expect that to completed with everything I need to know prior to your first session. As we do additional sessions I will make notes to Myself and I welcome an email with the subs thoughts/requests prior to any subsequent sessions. This allows for growth, a greater connection and the further pushing of limits.

Hate - When a sub sends a flurry (3 or more) of emails prior to a session. If your session is more than a day away, most Mistresses will have had multiple sessions between the time they read your email and the time of your session. When subs make changes, add fetishes/likes/dislikes, make clothing requests, ask questions, etc. it will often get lost in the chatter of everyday life and sessioning. It is unreasonable to expect a Domme to go through multiple emails when she starts the planning of your session.

Unless it's online. I know the idea of a Domme hating shopping is an oxymoron for some of you, but the idea of going to the mall makes My skin crawl. Small boutiques aren't much better. I get annoyed with the the sales staff and can't stop thinking of better things to do with My time.

Conversely I love getting items off My wishlist. It's a great way for a sub to show Me he is thinking of Me on holidays, prior to a session or any other time. It's also a good way for a new sub to show his sincerity.

being able to get things off a wishlist is the way to go! you know that the item is something She wants/needs and the size will be right. You do have to make sure that the item is ordered with enough time to arrive!

This week has been full of new initiates and it's just served to reminded how much I love fresh meat. The initial evaluation, inspection, and testing of limits are all special treats to a Domme like Me.

There was a dungeon in NYC a long time ago which had a special procedure for initiates (fresh meat). I do not remember the name of the dungeon, but it had a distinctive location, on a high floor in a new luxury rental building in the east side (50s) near to the then brand new tram to Roosevelt Island.

Anyway, the procedure was that the client (before paying any fee) had to get completely nude and appear in an interview room with a group of Mistresses sitting (fully clothed, of course) behind a long desk. They would ask the sub questions, and then based on his answers, determine which one of them would see him, if they believed him qualified.

It was an amazing way of reversing the usual procedure in some dungeons where the prospective sub interviews the Dommes and he decides who he wants to see. It put the Women in charge, and if the sub did not like their determination, he had no choice, he would get no session.

The place closed after only a short while, but not because there was anything faulty with their procedure. The building was filling up with regular residential tenants.

I have always found the line up procedure at dungeons where Dommes sit a shift to be very distasteful. Turning Dommes into slabs of beef sets the wrong tone for a session and I don't think I could have ever done that. The procedure you describe is delightful. Too bad they didn't make it.

I thought that lining up the Misyresses so a sub could pick went out when print ads died in this business. With online sites there is no reason for it. And it what escort locations used to do years ago. That is a terrible practice for Doninas and I agree, it sets the wrong tone.

When supposed subs treat Pro Dommes that are actually dominant women like they are "service tops" they seldom get the session they are hoping for. If you allow a Domme to have Her fun Her way, you will more than likely have the time of your life.

you must trust that we are actually professional (which is why you should do your homework), convey your interests and hard limits concisely and then sit back and enjoy.

The mystery of what the Prodom will choose to do to the lucky slave then also makes the session much, much better. Anticipation is a wonderful thing!
