wondering if anyone has experience with onlyfans they could share. Quarantine has got me looking for new ways to interact with a few dommes and ive talked to several about subscribing to their onlyfans.

I love the concept but Looking at the site i have some reservations. I am always careful with personal info online ( both in my bdsm life and vanilla life). Ive read some bad reviews about their privacy policies, payment methods look really limited etc.

Any thoughts?

I’ve been on it for a couple months. The content is very dependent on the individual. I’ve subscribed to a couple pages and not really liked them. Its very hit or miss and you generally don’t know until after you subscribed. They all default to auto renew btw, but it’s very easy to turn that off. I thought I’d like the bdsm pages more, but I haven’t enjoyed the few I’ve tried. I’m pretty specific in my kink preference and I think OF is better if you enjoy a wide variety as the Dommes are publishing content to all their subscribers. I did find one more vanilla model’s page that I really enjoy so you never know what you might find of interest. It’s just a bit of a crap shoot IMO. It does offer pretty easy IMing and personal interactions. I’ve not had any challenges on the payment front, but I’m using a cc which some may not be comfortable with.

One thing I like about Onlyfans is that the name it comes up on under your bank statement can't be found via search engines. so at least that's a plus.

I just signed up for my first onlyfans subscription. A few thoughts:

• I just signed up with my real name, since I have no security risk. If I were particularly nervous, I'd have gotten a reloadable visa like a vanilla card and tried to use that, with fake name/email/etc. In retrospect, that's probably what I should have done. I did use a credit card number that was generated just for the OF site (it's a feature of my credit card, the number is generated right from a firefox addon), but probably should have used a Vanilla and different name
  
• I signed up because there's this unspeakably gorgeous bikini barista I've been following on instagram over the quarantine. She posts PG-13 shots every day, she does live feeds where she interacts with people, etc. I figured for all the joy she's given me for free, I should gift her something. But all the bikini baristas seem to have removed their cashapp handles and instead replaced them with OF links so I joined her site instead. It's soft core porn and I definitely appreciate it
  
• I'm not sure the above makes as much sense for me with a pro domme. She's likely not posting anything more racey on her OF... on the other hand, if she's posting short private session clips daily, AND I can make clip requests (for a tip), and I can interact with her in messaging... perhaps I'm being short-sighted. In fact the more I think about it, the more I like the idea

Thanks for the responses. I just signed up and i am glad i did. Its scratching an itch in quarantine. For me its not about the pictures. Its the ability to interact with some of the dommes who seem to be very active on their pages. For what it is worth both pages i signed up for are vanilla but the models have been happy to engage in some kink chat with me. They seem to be having fun with it and a nice change of pace for me. The subscription fees are ridiculously low I've been throwing in a few tips. Im not a big social media guy but checking message a few times a day has been exciting.

Still not sure on privacy issues but this definitely isn't the biggest risk I've taken on in the lifestyle

Onlyfans is just a platform. There is absolutely no correlation between the content offered by different hosts. As far as billing I do not like them. Clips 4 sale has very good customer support, my experience with OF less positive. I tried to cancel on the date of the renewal and was forced to pay an extra month.

I subscribed to Of for a very short time. I found that the content could probably have been better suited to YouTube, i.e., very vanilla. The problem also is that I don't see any way to preview content in order to know if it's worth you while.

On your issue specifically, I suggest that if one subscribes to an OnlyFans, immediately go into your profile, find your subscriptions, and turn auto-renew OFF... otherwise you will definitely forget to do it before it auto-renews

As Komodo mentioned, the content is completely specific to the person you subscribe to. If you found the content G or PG rated, a different woman might have something closer to X. The bikini barista I subscribed to has mostly nude videos, basically soft-core porn, but she also has a few videos of her performing oral sex on her BF, and of her inserting a toy into herself, so moving on past softcore.

I do agree it sucks that you can't preview content. Sometimes you can find OF reviews on particular providers so you know in advance

I get the point on platform vs the individuals content. But I do think the platform influences/impacts content. As example, I tried to use the word “ballbusting” in an IM on OF and the platform would not allow me to send until I removed the word. Twitter, C4S, etc all have their own rules. For whatever the reason, I’ve found the BDSM content on OF not particularly compelling could be driven by the platform, could be driven by the individuals I’ve followed or some combination. I have enjoyed some of the more vanilla content I’ve found there and I do think the personal interactions work well.
