I really hate that word now.

When I read it in my mind I always get a picture of a man with a hipster beard dressed in what looks like lumberjack clothes but it all comes from REI, costing many times more.

Wow, that definitely is not what I think of... I try not to think about hipster beards though.

Do they still indulge in PBR, or is it "craft" beers now?

I used to session with a Domme whos hipster speak was so intense I actually found myself not understanding her and having to looks things up in the Urban Dictionary.

As for whoke, even those that are tend not to use the term in every day convo.

Ha, yes I think they've moved to craft beer, indeed.

I don't think woke people refer to themselves as such. Only people who are surprised that marginalized people exist. Which is most of America? I don't know.

Marginalized people certainly exist, the question for all people with at least an ounce of compassion is how to de-marginalize them.

I do... Usually when I am yelling at my neighbors when I was trying to sleep. As in the very unironic statement:

”You motherfuckers woke me up at 4am again!!!”

Lol... was waiting for someone to use "woke" in the classic sense

... and shockingly the person who wrote a smartass answer that intentionally ignored the actual point of the conversation was me.

OK, maybe that isn't shocking but it's been too long since I've had electrical play (almost two weeks) so I am searching for any little bit of it I can get.

What would you define as a marginalized person? I'm not disputing the fact that they exist, but I just want to be clear on whom we're talking about. Thanks.

It's the only way I want to hear it or use it. It's annoyingly pretentious otherwise usually used by insufferable, virtue signaling A holes and mostly online in my experience.
