Excuses for being out of the house for sessioning

So, as promised i'm posting here a new thread on this topic.

Here is the concept/issue:

i do sessions with a (wonderful) Domme. we do 2+ hour sessions with lunch etc included afterward. Typically they start around 9:00-9:30am and last until about 12:30-1pm. I also drive about 45 minutes across town - a good thing. So i'm gone for maybe 4 hours total.

My question to all is: What is a good excuse to be away from home for so long? We both like the a.m. sessions for several reasons. As was suggested golf, unfortunately, i don't play. i do exercise with a real friend, but i don't want to have to get back into workout clothes after the session & lunch and somehow get "all sweaty."
i've been using doctor and dental appts as an excuse, but sure would love to find something that affords a longer time frame and seems more "legit."

Again, i have guilt enough about my sessioning - honestly don't think s.o. would care all that much other than the money! She'd kill me for that part! And yes, i've tried with s.o. to lean toward my BDSM side, but to very little avail. i do love Her very much, that is not the issue. And NO, i do not want to get caught!! And CAN NOT tell s.o. about this hobby.

So smart readers/posters, what are your ideas? i'd love to hear any input you have! Thanks in advance!

i also like this board better than the "other one" as posters tend to try to "one-up" each other there! And often times are even flat out mean. That's not what these boards are for!

Hello jacky b. Because of the inactivity of this board, I don't check it often, so I am just now seeing this. Four hours MIA can be tough. From your post, it sounds like you must work from home or are retired, which complicates things. Most subs would just say they have an early work meeting or something.

From My experience, retirees or work from home guys tend to use hobbies as the main excuse - as mentioned: golf, tennis, fantasy football, etc. Have you considered taking a class or going to some "meet up" groups that interest you or forward your career? Something of that nature would give you a regular excuse to be absent.
