Anyone remember the old early 2000's game show called Fear Factor? I always thought some of the stunts contestants were forced to undergo had definite BDSM undertones. Having their head shaved? .....having their head locked in a box full of cockroaches? .....Eating blended pig parts or insects? eek

All that was missing was the people being naked, in restraints and being caned if they failed the task. grin

I definitely remember the show!! I also remember the live shows at Universal Studios. I never thought about looking at it through a BDSM lens. It's something to consider, I guess.

If you search, you can find some weird Japanese TV shows that have weird contests, and predicaments.
