Bluesky

Curious if anyone here is using Bluesky? Seems more BDSM friendly than Twitter/X while pretty much being the same format. Just doesn’t seem to have much activity on it. Just wondering if anyone is using it regularly and seeing engagement there.

I'm on it but don't post much because it just hasn't taken off yet, and its a little less user friendly than twitter. Also have a hard time finding people when I search a specific username.

Their invite model is stupid. Not sure if they are trying to use scarcity as a way to create demand or what. At this point pretty much everyone who wants an invite code has one I suspect. I have 5 if anyone wants one.

I've got plenty of invitation codes. If you want one, let me know.

This is likely the strategy. A sense of exclusivity attracts people. Some Dommes use this very effectively.


Soapy: Thanks for the offer. I'll think about it. I've been seriously burned by social media twice. Two, 8-year-old accounts taken away from me. That's A LOT of time and effort down the drain. The powerlessness I feel on these platforms is just really beyond my interest at this point.

That said, I'll think about it. Maybe just establish an account and keep everything very simple.

It hasn't really taken off yet -- most people are still using twitter as their primary social media and not posting regularly. I follow a bunch of fellow dommes but most of the active accounts I follow are not BDSM-related at all.

I enjoy it and check it regularly but I don't believe I'm getting any business off it at this time.
