RESPECT for Pro Dommes - 06/05/23 09:58 PM

Had recent session with a Mistress, and in aftercare, we discussed a LOT.
For subs, recognize the difference between sub and slave and STOP thinking you're 1 when that is not realistic. IF you don't "get" the difference, maybe ASK before sessioning, as it does matter.

Also, THINK about the risk Pro Dommes take before balking at the tribute, OR the requirements. These professionals literally risk their LIFE and deserve more respect than some posts here seem to understand.

The things Mistresses have to purchase to have an "arsenal" often costs $10's of thousands, not including space, NOr the risk they take personally. So, STOP being "mad" when they want to know WHO you are.

IF you don't think this is realistic, then leave the Pro Dommes to those of us that respect what they are.

I hope I did not offend any Professional Dommes, but after recent discussion have increased respect for your safety,

sub J,

Bladezeus, I completely agree. If I posted this comment already on this site, it bears repeating. Years ago, before the internet, when going to a new dungeon and especially seeing an independent Mistress in her own studio or apartment for the first time, I would sometimes be nervous thinking, "I don't know this person. Is she legit?"

At some point I matured, realized that it wasn't all about me, and that Mistresses are taking the risk, especially in the days before social media and the like. She might think I was a cop or axe murderer. Mistresses were taking most of the risks, if not all of them.

So my mindset from then on was to act like the Mistress hired me for session, whether it was a first time appointment or someone who knew me well. It increased my rapport with Mistresses and took my sessions to the next level and beyond.
