Non-Pros-- Playing with the Amateurs

Are Amateur/lifestyle Mistresses "safe" to play with? Do the large & in charge Ladies of the "munch" have the necessary training, and experience to Domme your world?

I session with the women i date in my personal life all the time and love it! I feel safe and its fun. Its not quite the same luxury experience as seeing a pro. But the emotional connection makes it all the more special. There are some mistakes for sure but those are more funny than unsafe

I started sharing my bdsm interests about 10 years ago in my personal life and at first i thought it would kill my dating and sex life. But just the opposite has happened. Apparently their are a lot of kinky perverts hiding behind a vanilla exterior :-)

My absolutely wildest sessions have been with non-pros:
Several days held captive in a straitjacket, forced to eat vomit and scat from multiple women, heavy ball-kicking...
And I never felt at risk of an injury or worse.

I'm not sure being "forced to eat vomit and scat from multiple women" is what I'd call safe. I'm glad I didn't wonder into that Munch.

I think it depends on your kink. There are definitely some activities where I think playing with an amateur would be foolish and downright dangerous.

Personally, I’m into heavy tease and ballbusting. I’ve had pretty good luck finding folks to play with. In some ways, I think it’s better with a non-pro. The heavy tease for example, escorts, SB’s, kinky girlfriends, etc are often willing to go a bit further with that than I think most Dommes would be comfortable with. More “hands on” if you will….

That said, every so often my itch is for a Pro Domme, a dungeon, restraints, and many implements of destruction.

When I was young and... I had contracted various STDs quite a few times, this with plain vanilla activities. Fortunately then it was easy, just a dose of Ampicillin and you were back in business...
On the other hand, I have never contracted anything by eating scat or vomit.
But I agree, risk assessment is very personal.

Great Point Chi61. Sessioning with a known Pro should guarantee competency, training, and experience. A busy Pro Domme does more sessions weekly, than most non-pro/lifestylers do in a year. A majority also attend local & international conventions, trainings, and seminars.

I agree Spark. Playing with lovers can be wonderful. Providing there's no negative judgment, or highly technical kink.

I've played with a few nonpros and have always had a good time. They might not've been as beautiful. But the price was right.

Interesting to bring this up on a forum for and by pros. It's kind of like asking a forum for professional bakers how everyone felt about asking that lady at church to do your wedding cake instead.

Anyway, I think it's like a Venn diagram of two, somewhat overlapping circles.

Yes, they may both do kink. Yes, they may both be women. Yes, they may both top -- maybe even Dominate -- you.

An amateur can absolutely be safe to play with, just as a "professional" may not be. (As we always say, "Due your due diligence!")

But the whole idea of a professional is that certain expectations are reliably met, including skill, options, safety, boundaries like confidentiality and "no strings". Some people need the assurance of those things.

Interesting analogy as there seems to be a trend among prodommes of being into baking. :-)

Just to be devil's advocate here.....I can think of two advantages(at least for me) playing with a non pro can have over a pro.

The first is the luxury of time. One of the biggest drawbacks to pro sessions for me is the inability (or at least the large cost) of doing a truly extended session. My longest pro session ever was about 5-6 hours while my longest with a private play partner was more like 18.

The second is the likelihood of far more intimate activities taking place in a private vs pro session (at least in North America)

Of course this presupposes a skilled amateur and an established relationship. Both of which I have been lucky enough to experience

Exactly. Absolutely no question that a quality pro session is far more easily obtainable than the same quality session with an an amateur.

No, they don't in my experience. My only experience with an amateur involved interrupting a session to teach her how to do a two-column tie on my legs without cutting off circulation.
