Should we only see dommes who have a blue check on Twitter for safety purposes? - 11/12/22 09:27 PM

Since we have to supply references and deposits, should things get balanced out with dommes becoming blue check Twitter verified now that the feature is open to everyone? I know I would feel much safer sessioning with someone who has been verified.

Most advertisement sites used by Dommes require, at minimum, ID verification.

Blue check marks do nothing. There's tons of blue check mark Elon Musk accounts.

I see two well known and reputable Dommes who have active twitter accounts. Neither has a blue check mark.

Blue check marks mean nothing, at least right now.

The reason for references is because very few of us as clients have well-known presences within the scene or on the internet. There are not review boards for clients other than blacklists for those that are dangerous. Deposits are a different question as those are in place to help mitigate if/when a client doesn't show up for some reason (legitimate or not) since Dommes must prepare for a session in various ways (hair/makeup, getting dressed up, possibly travel and facility fees) that they totally lose out on if the session doesn't happen. There is no client equivalent for this.

A blue checkmark means Twitter knows their legal identity. Eros has the same thing. It has nothing to do with whether someone is trustworthy or has any clue what they are doing from either a safety or fun perspective. So, while I support your personal decision of setting that as a requirement for you to book, I don't see much value in it as I trust my own research a hell of a lot more than Twitter's.

YMMV...

VaxxedToTheMaxx, aka BootyWarrior, aka NoMasks:

I know that antagonizing Dommes is one of your kinks, but keep it up and you will be removed. Again.

It's kind of you to explain this to our intellectually challenged troll.

Mistress Tissa,

Thank you for commenting. I just joined here because Maxfisch seemed toxic, even if it does have nearly five times the activity this site does, this just seemed like a safer space, but you are not making me feel welcome here with tossing around random names and insinuations.

You like to play victim when you are the instigator.

How would an in-person session between you and I go? Would you gaslight me like you are doing now? Beat me senseless? Or deliver one of the best sessions ever and convert me into a devoted follower?
