OnlyFans - more drama

OnlyFans - more drama - 10/15/21 01:13 PM

For any of you that are interested in the inner workings of sites like OnlyFans I am going to share the latest. After saying they were going to ban explicit content and then retracting the proclamation days later, they have now made it so onerous to post anything beyond POV stuff that I trying to decide if it is even worth it.

They have taken down over 200 of My posts - most of which had other participants. They want not only the ID and 2257 of all people in the video (which I have) but they also want a photo of the person holding their ID and release (which I don't have). They gave Me 3 days to get this uploaded and have since removed all posts with other participants. They also are prohibiting any link to My website as it promotes "escort services". Links to other payment avenues like Cashapp are also prohibited (understandably). You can't mention Skype, Whatsapp, etc. You can't include your phone number or email address.

AVN Stars is the last man standing. It's still very open without the pesky insular attitude. You can post links to your site and anything else. I just can't get people to move over there. I don't know if it is because OF was around first and most people registered there and are comfortable, but AVN has always been the superior site in My opinion.

Thoughts?

It's not just OF, IWC and almost every platform we use is changing their policies by the day and screwing us over. Of course, this is Mastercards fault ultimately.

I'd hate to get rid of my OF, personally. A lot of my subs love my tasks and interactions and I just don't have the energy to upload my thousandish pieces of media to another site.

I'd recommend making a cheaper subscription on AVN, just for session pics/videos with others. Keep OF about you, AVN about your sessions? It's better to have multiple sites anyway in case one goes down.

Good advice. I moved all my fans from my old content site to AVN and they pay the same subscription fee for unlimited content with the bonus of photos and tasks. That is why the fee is high there. When I set up OF I made it PPV with a lot of free content and that was going very well, but mainly because I have multi-person content. The POV stuff just does't sell well there.

I definitely think it's a good idea to have more than one media site as you have mentioned. I just think OF has been particularly unprofessional and their reputation stunk way before all of this. I would love to leave them all together but they have the lion's share of subs registered and ready to pay.

Do you have experience with any of the other fans sites beyond OF and AVN? Any that you would recommend?

I feel for everyone who is having a difficult time with issues like these. Companies like MyFans got their start from the adult industry and then threw them under the bus with pressure from the credit card companies. It is absurd they make requirements retroactive. It is good to hear that AVN Stars is still standing. But, as you say, not everyone moves over and gives support to venues they are not familiar with. Humans are creatures of habit, I guess.

I've only tried Onlyfans and AVN. According to the discussions I've been in the best three traffic-wise are:

-OnlyFans
-AVN
-JustForFans

In my opinion you will make the most from OF, no matter what. Avn does have some really cool features though, and seems more stable. Personally I don't trust JFF.

If you ever wanna talk feel free to hit me up I'm always down to brainstorm and share information smile

Thank you so much for this - especially the offer to brainstorm.

What is a 2257?

Yah, it is like that with the Internet.

The first one in with a type of site becomes a watering hole and it is very hard to get people to move over.

2257 is a release form required by the government.

I think there's a psychological thing when you use a new fans or clips site, because you have to trust them with your name and credit card information. It's kind of a leap of trust -- a small one, but still a leap. So once you're in one system and it's working for you, you don't really want to leave.

I've bought subscriptions on OF, AVN, and LoyalFans. I like LF best, even though I'm not sure why. I think, to be honest, that it's more an accident of who I've subscribed to where, more than anything about the platforms themselves. But LF is the one I'm used to.
