Max Fisch Down?

Tried the Hang this morning, it seems to be down. Is it just me?

It is has been slow for days then took a dive. It isn't just you.

Yep, won't load for me either.

Two or three years ago this happened. When MF returned I tried to get a few people over there who I respect to come here, especially after domina.ms was redesigned to look like MF. They respectfully declined. Old habits die hard. If not this time, then the next time or time after that MF will crash and not come back.

It's no fun when Dommes aren't being bashed and trashed. The Hang's a troll play pen. Thankfully we have a place where it's not allowed.

Maybe someone should contact The Boss pronto!

did the moderator or moderators or owners of maxfisch decide to close the place?

Right now it is simply a blank screen!

Or, did the webhosting company figure that maxfisch was not to their standards and close them, somehow?

Does anyone here know one or several of the maxfisch moderators?

If you go in through an existing thread, you get in. Even then, it only partially downloads. The site has been a mess for so long, it is hard to tell what is going on. Perhaps it is being moved to another server and this is the propagation phase? Just a guess.

Go in directly through the forum.

Yup, its a white screen for me on mobile and desktop. The link above is giving me an error page...

What is weird is that a few days ago when it came back up it looked completely fixed. Some of the boxes that hadn't updated in years were working and updating in real time - like the "new posts" and "who's online" areas. It appears someone is working on it, they just don't have sorted yet.

I just went there, posted a comment, turned off the right side bar, turned it back on again, and saw my post totals increment.

Yeah, I think someone is working on it and everyone just needs to be patient.
