Dominant Women And Cooking

Dominant Women And Cooking - 11/22/19 08:48 PM

It seems like a lot of dominant women are really into cooking.

Double that for baking. I'm guessing because baking is an exact affair.

Does it seem like this to anyone else?

My guess is that they ( at least prodommes ) can be, having slightly more flexible schedules. Cooking can also be an outlet for creativity. Prodommes tend also to be very interested in keeping in shape and processed food/take out/restaurant food/ready to eat stuff seems to take people in the OPPOSITE direction of that goal smile.

Am I way off base?

Re: Dominant Women And Cooking - 11/23/19 02:35 AM

I don't know about the baking thing, but a lot of Pro Dommes I know are very artistic and are incredibly creative as people... Many of them do use food/cooking as one of the mediums to express this.

I am sure diet does play into it in some cases, but I actually think you missed the caretaking aspect of cooking for others in your analysis of why there seems to be a preponderance of Dommes with great culinary skills.

So, as ususl, my long-ass answer to your simple question is "no... I don't think you are off-base on this"

I love to cook. (There are cookers and there are bakers, very different people.) I don't think all dommes cook, but almost all I know are into food and have a lot to say about it.

Don't take a domme to Chili's for dinner. Just don't.

What about "Jack in the box", Panda Express or McDonald's?

I actually have a couole of Dommes who order me to stop at those places quite regularly when we are together and I am always like... "Wait.. I won't even eat at these places amd my diet sucks... How the hell do you still look like a model?" (Of course, they do eat healthy, and pretty lightly, most of the time)

Okay. I do have to come clean, I have a psychological attachment to McDonalds french fries. A few times a year I will get some, and have had a slave pick them up for me once or twice when I was in NYC.

That aside, when I was younger and touring I had a few occasions where a slave offered to take me out. Each of these times each of these slaves had the same excitement to "really treat" me to a nice restaurant where they were known as regulars. I got to experience Red Robin, Macaroni Grill and Outback Steak house. Fine dinning outside of NYC, SF and LA can be incredible subjective, and yeah, after that I preferred to try to get more sessions and just order room service than experience "local flavour." I too, knew the waitress at Denny's when I was a teenager. That did not make it a place I would bring someone to impress them.

I am a snob, sure. I don't want to go to a restaurant where I cook better, and I am a pretty decent cook. Up your game, slaves! grin

Hey now... my guilty pleasure is Panda Express Orange chicken. I would think you'd like it as well, being orange and all. wink

I can't imagine taking anyone you were trying to impress to a chain restaurant.

I do not like cooking. When I do cook, I seem to be fairly decent at it, but I don't find it very fun.

I do like to bake, however. I tend to like to bake sweet things so I think it's mainly my sweet tooth driving this one.

Our too-long-absent friend from Max Fisch, Louca Brazzi, wrote a lovely review in story form (as he was so good at doing) of a session with Mistress Chloe in which she cooked and served him a wonderful dinner, which led to a bit of disciplinary action. It's probably still there in the archives if want to dig for it.

Louca Brazzi… I'm a former denizen of MaxFisch. When I left there was concern that he had not communicated with anyone in awhile. Did he ever resurface?

Domina M, based on where you live which is one of the culinary capitals of the world, it would be almost a literal crime if you or any Parisian Mistress would be taken to a chain restaurant. In fact I could see a French gendarmerie squad taking this sub away and arresting him for a crime against French culture!

Re: Dominant Women And Cooking - 11/24/19 04:31 PM

Louca remains among the unknown missing.

He did have some health issues, and other than his persona on Max Fisch, he was a pretty private person. If anyone here was close enough to him to to know if he died, they've not announced it, which is probably as he would have preferred.

Re: Dominant Women And Cooking - 11/27/19 09:30 AM

I used to really enjoy cooking very complicated meals. The whole process of shopping for obscure ingredients, needing special equipment, having to be precise in measurements, timing and technique was a joy - but over time the love of it was lost and it just became a drudgery. Now I would much rather have a meal cooked for me. I like that better than dining out.

The joy of eating great food, now that I still have.

Oh how I would love to be a little fly on the wall when Mistress Ayn makes you pay for that comment.

And I promised Kneel4Her that I would give you at least one hard swat from her for that remark. Punished remotely by a sub girl. How did you get so lucky?

It will probably be in Atlanta, so i am sure Mistress Ayn could arrange to have you tied up in a corner somewhere.

Sounds fun, I'd bring the popcorn...but not sure how I'd eat it. smirk wink

So I'm not the only one?! It was the same for me. I'd have huge dinner parties and, enjoy doing everything myself. Now, when I have parties, I cater.

Re: Dominant Women And Cooking - 11/28/19 04:18 AM

That's simple... Mistress Ayn would strap a bowl to your chin and you would eat it by shooting your tongue out and getting a kernel just like a frog catching flies.

I'm seriously into microwaving! My motto is, "If it can be nuked it will be nuked."
Posted by: Kneel4Her

Re: Dominant Women And Cooking - 12/01/19 12:48 AM

I'm not dominant, but I think it's interesting because I used to love to bake and enjoyed cooking, but now I don't have the patience to do either. For myself at least, I wonder if that is attributed to living in a world full of instant gratification as well as distraction. Catering, microwaving, delivery services such as grubhub, not to mention a zillion meal kit delivery services that advertise and boast minimal time in the kitchen are so common now.

That's exactly what I was going to say! I do not have the skills to enjoy going off-book as with the best cooking. Baking is more exacting and to my taste ;P

Def consider myself a foodie, though. That's why I have a partner who cooks lol. When I splurge, it's often on food.

I don't mind the cooking, but it's the cleanup that gets me. For anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant, cleanup is the quintessence of drudgery.

Favorite things to bake or cook? - 12/27/19 08:20 PM

Oo, another baker !

What are some of your favorite things to bake?

Cake is mine. Followed by cookies. Then brownies and scones. I really like making sweet crepes, but that's is really more cooking.

Anyone else want to talk about what they enjoy making?

Can't fully disagree there, especially on a large scale.

Though I must admit I do sometimes find something rather meditative about doing the dishes at home...

Re: Favorite things to bake or cook? - 01/19/20 12:06 AM

Ooh, I've never attempted crepes. I'm rather intimidated by them, tbh. I do certainly love eating them, perhaps that will be the next project. Any tips for a newb?!

My list is pretty similar, actually. Loaf cakes/breads are good for me, nothing fancy lol. Brownies are definitely a comfort go-to. I picked up a pumpkin scone mix, but must admit I haven't tried it yet. This thread is turning into quite the kitchen confessional for me!
