Hello Ms. Rose Woods. I think you and I both have a low opinion of social media in general, but since it's not going away, I do exploit it. Primarily I use Twitter for promotion but I also use it to keep in touch with subs and keep them engaged between visits.

I am not a fan of distance training unless I am going to eventually get My hands on a slave so when I do distance training, like key holding as an example, I do like utilizing Twitter as a tool. However, I do think that some ladies "give too much away" on Twitter and I think that is what you are driving at. This is basically the only way I use Twitter too as a sub.
Online domination doesn't appeal to me too much unless i'm specifically planning to session with that domme or have already sessioned with that domme, it just feels too impersonal and cold for me otherwise!

That has been my working theory.

I've been getting a lot of prodommes who I don't recognize, with a lot of Twitter pages with minimal content following me.

My remarks on Twitter could not have been THAT witty.

I have also been getting notifications of followers on Twitter, and when I look them up, there is not content. I think that they could be "bot" accounts.

I did have two such prodommes message me on Twitter.

They seemed new to the field.

I politely backed out of the conversations when I found out they lived plane flights away from me.

So, I must admit that I actually have had a twitter account specifically dedicated as my own personal "porn feed" for at least the last 5 years. Has had zero effect on how often I do sessions though.

Social Media certainly affects how one is tantalized by possibility. Masturbating to twitter, websites or other attractive feeds does not happen for me and cannot come close to replacing and in person encounter.

Having said that, a twitter feed or Mistress blog especially - a real story, journal entry or writing, does provide masturbatory material for afterwards - when I can imagine a scenario with the Mistress in question.

What keeps me from a session is funds or fear. Fear, not of the Mistress, but of the psychological terrain the encounter requires I tread on. The tweet or blog or picture or profile is seductive bait that stimulates the giant, "What if"?
