Relationship Between BDSM & Gay Pride

Hello Everyone...

This post was somewhat inspired by something on Max Fisch, and I wanted to get your thoughts.

I'll be in a city during their Pride Parade this fall (they have theirs in October). I wanted to wear something that expressed solidarity with LGBT while at the same time representing the BDSM/Leather community.

I wasn't thinking anything ostentatious...something along the lines of a t-shirt with the Triskelion.

Still, do any of you think this is misappropriation? Calling attention to one community at the expense of another? Let me know.

My experience with Pride is that there is an emphasis on inclusion, especially as the definition of "Queer" and "Pan Sexual" broadens, so I see no misappropriation. If you are still not 100% sure, "This Straight, Kinky Guy Supports LGBT the Community" stance is pretty safe.

There is a "Kink Pride" of sorts, The Folsom Street Fair, and it is glorious.
