On the meaning of degradation

When people use the term degradation, is that meaning toilet consumption or toilet licking and cleaning, or does it mean worse things, if any. I am not sure I can think of worse things!

It could mean many things, and “degradation” is going to differ from person to person. Something you find humiliating may be something another relishes in. It is not code word or euphemism for any particular activity.
