facebook?? Really?

I really do not like the facebook 'Like' button here. Yikes, what if I click on it by accident and it gets posted to my vanilla facebook account?

This is scary for me and the risk is far greater than whatever pleasure or use I get from these forums.

Is there any way to disable the tweet and facebook buttons for a user's account?

I never even noticed those buttons! I just clicked on it to see what would happen and you actually have to hit confirm an then confirm again once it brings up the FB window, so you would have to accidentally hit something 3 times. I think you are safe ;-) The tweet button requires 2 clicks.

Thanks for looking into it. I wanted to try that myself but dared not to risk it since it is nearly impossible to delete facebook content... especially since any 'Like' propagates to all your friends.

Or maybe I have that confused with fetlife.
