Sanders had an interesting approach to this, which I actually mostly liked. He said, of course, legalize it. This, I agree with. It is quite absurd that it was outlawed and demonized in the first place. Sanders suggested giving licenses to only African Americans in low income districts. The debate was moving quickly. I was live streaming it from Costa Rica and it kept cutting in and out. So, I may have lost part of this. Someone, please correct me if I am wrong here. I liked the suggestion of allowing every day folks to have licenses to set up dispensaries to prevent the uber wealthy from coming in and monopolizing the business. I didn't like the suggestion that licenses would be distributed based on skin color. In fact, I found the suggestion odd. But, the concept of keeping the licenses with the "Little guy" was a good one.
