I've been on the fence about seeing the movie but, the acting looks amazing. When it comes to movie, I care more about the quality of the film than the subject matter. So, I'm going to see it today. I'd be interested to know what others thought of it. Meanwhile, check out this SNL skit. It is hilarious.

I absolutely loved it. There were some parts where I was like "ehhh..." but overall great film.

I've read the articles about the U.S. Army and FBI warnings that it might inspire INCELS to do more mass shootings.

I don't want to encourage such movies.


To be fair and honest though, I wouldn't see it anyway. I could never get into super hero movies. I think I have only seen 2 - 3.

I'm not big on super hero movies either. It just reads as a genuine, non formulaic movie on emotions and, hints on societal break down. It makes me think of Redford's movie, Ordinary People, in some regards. I'm drawn to it, not because of violence but, the seeming sincerity of the movie. When I do see it, I will post here. Safe art is bad art in my opinion and I don't want our world to be censoring art/media/comedy just because it sparks controversy or could be skewed by a certain group of crazies. If we let terrorists impact our lives to such an extent then we're allowing them to have power, which we shouldn't.

I know you weren't going to see it anyway, but I hope others don't boycott it solely for this reason.
