As I wake up this morning I have this vision for an overwhelmingly powerful scene:

Very loud music. Something obsessive, trance inducing. One of these repetitive a capella pieces. Perhaps Gregorian chants.

Her, in a dark outfit, no skin visible, only the face.

No facial expression of any kind. You see, even negative domme-like expressions like anger, disdain, ridicule, are human expressions. Human means humanity. Humanity would be something I could connect with, maybe try to slow down the torture.

So no. No expressions at all. Just a cold face, unmoved by any of the tortures or my reactions.

Not a word word spoken for the many hours that the torture lasts. Not one.

For the same reason. The sound of a live voice is a sign a humanity. Perhaps a microscopic hint of warmth seeping through. We don t want that.

Instead, essential verbal commands, up, down, on knees, are uttered through a disembodied, electronic voice. You know, the old fashioned, monotone, robotic voice, in which, even the most desperate imagination could not discern a Humanity, even a synthetic one.

Voice made further disembodied as it is projected from multiple corners of the room at once.

And so it goes in this vision.
No hope of humanity as the torture gets more intense over the hours and the realization emerges that it may never, never stops, Her eyes, devoid of any passion, locked into mine, the universe reduced to Her expert hands, an array of instruments and the
unimaginable pain they produce....

PS: So, there is no point to this vignette, except that, as I wake up to another day of 10+ hours of wall to wall zoom meetings, talking to dozens of humans, yet in isolation, I thought I d share this dream scene. Perhaps someday one of you will make it happen....who knows.
