"Just a heads up to creators around the news that Pornhub pulled out of Texas..

[retweet this for awareness]

This doesn’t just apply to PH. It applies to adult sites doing business in Texas.

This means that while Texas is suing Pornhub for 2M, (and now XHamster and Chaturbate as well) it’s not because they are the biggest..

And if you’re an individual creator who has their own membership site in general, and people in Texas can access it, you’re also liable in the case that Texas (or Louisiana btw) want to sue you for operating there. Who knows if they will, and even if they don’t (theoretically) you as a creator could still be sued.

This is why there type of legal battles are so important. And important that we (the creators) are informed about what is happening here..

This is why the work
@FSCArmy does is so important. Why you SHOULD be a member there and support their efforts. Why I, @MelRoseMichaels am a member there.

Also, this is one of the benefits to being on a platform like
@Pornhub
,
@Onlyfans
,
@Fancentro
,
@Manyvids
, @Slushy etc, is that the platform itself can take on those type of legal ramifications instead of individual creators..

Just some food for thought..

Tag any creators you know that host their OWN membership pay sites to make them aware of this if they aren’t already.

In fact, tag any creators you know just to keep them informed point blank.

It may seem unlikely the state will sue small sites like this - but it is possible.
