No idea about the truth of this case or this woman. If true, it is truly reprehensible and tragic what happened to her. True Human Trafficking (17 year old kidnapped, chained, drugged and repeatedly raped by "clients" over a 5 year period of time in multiple hotel chains across multiple states).

This, of course, will drive a response from hotels against women who are not being trafficked at all. Those who just happen to be traveling alone or with someone for business as well as those, like our Dommes here, who choose to have agency over their own body.

That is a horrible story and you are right that it may cause a knee jerk reaction from hotels. After the mass shooting in Las Vegas most major hotels announced that they would require a "wellness check" daily - meaning you can't hang a do not disturb sign on the door and expect to be left alone for days on end. Because of that I had to rethink how I travel. Now I request early maid service and make sure everything is stored away when they arrive. It's a total hassle. Some hotels will let you skip a day but some won't. My hotel in your town, slid a notice under my door when I passed on maid service one day. More or less it said they would enter the room the next day if I didn't let the maids in. We will probably see a tightening down on that and possibly other things as well. Thanks for this heads up.

OK... That is literally schizophrenic and absolutely the kind of profiling I was talking about. I stay in that hotel chain for work and they actually incentivize me to not take maid service by offering me bonus points on my account (which I absolutely take).
