About a decade ago when I was more into roleplay what a mistress wore was relatively important but not so much of late. In fact if she is very attractive and there is good rapport I make it known after a few sessions that I am OK with her wearing street clothes during the session. I have my fetish that fits into role plays that I enjoy, but lately (and, admittedly, because newer mistresses who I think I'd enjoy don't have a slip in their wardrobe) I've been able to work street or business clothes into my role play and have a good time. Who knows? Maybe too many spankings have broken me of my slip fetish.  Naw . . never happen.
