I am pretty good about knowing what I will not like so my limits really are limits. Given that, everything else is up to the prodomme's discretion. I like surprises and being introduced to new things.
I think the only time a prodomme went past my limits was accidental. We were both in a rush to set up the session and I didn't list as many details about my dislikes as I should have. I got a very expensive confirmation ( several weeks of mental pain ) that I really do not like humiliation.
