 I come in from a long afternoon of walking around the city in flip flops on a hot day. My soles are filthy and blackened by dirt. The filth eater is lying at the foot of my bed waiting, silently for my bare feet to hover over his face. I completely ignore him as he work, licking each foot clean, sucking every speck of dirt off. I’m in skinny jeans, chatting with a friends about all the things I did to get my feet so dirty, shoe shopping, my legs and even pedicures. When I am satisfied I get u and leave the filth eater never having acknowledged his presence. He just continues to lay there like an object.
