Though most of my participation was in the political forum, I would shy away from allowing political posts if I ran this site.
Politics tends to be heated and divisive.
For example, Cheyenne and I agreed on most issues, but when we did differ, it sometimes resulted in posts that we had to apologize for.
So personally, I would participate in a political forum but if I was the owner, I would ban or at least discourage political posts here.
