Do you have a favorite time of year for sessions? For me it is summer, even at this advanced age. Sure, autumn, around the Holidays have its charms but warm weather gets me.

And this summer since my Mistress has been busy with her full time career we have only sessioned twice. Had the second a few day ago and am still, as Mistress usually says, “in heat like the beast you are.” LOL!

Does time of year matter to my fellow subs?

Hey JB, interesting question and I had never given it much thought till reading your post.

I really dislike winter and cold weather and have avoided doing much of anything during the colder months. Thinking back on my sessions over the year, I have tended to session most in the spring time when warmer weather returns and everything feels new and alive, making me want to live life to the fullest and that definitely includes sessions. So for me, spring is the season that makes me want, (need?) to scratch that itch.

Fall, I guess in general fall is nice for most things. Some seasons when it is super cold, dungeons close for a day or so due to inside temps, others like warehouse settings will be colder and not as fun, but I've had some in December and the session was nice.

Wow. This is a hard question. I’d have to say Summer. Warm weather, sunshine, summer clothes. Everything about it says play.

Though, a session on a cold winters day particularly in a big city like New York or Chicago has something magical to it as well. Preferably followed with a drink of something delicious next to a warm fire.

I don’t think I have a favorite for sessions, love them whenever I can find time to fit them in. However, I do think it influences activities. Latex or heavy sleep sack in August? No thanks. Long session naked in cinderblock basement in January? No thanks. But each season also opens up different opportunities! Subtle bondage during a picnic in May? Yes please! Extremely tight corset, butt plug, and nipple clamps at a bar under jeans and a puffer coat in February? Where do I sign?

Great question by the way, I do love understanding more about “the decisions beyond the decisions” that make people tick!

That's how I felt with a mid december session several years back at the Fortress in NYC. Very cool to go from cold outside to being naked and having fun inside for an hour.

I have no favorite time in the year to session. For me it’s whenever I get the freedom and resources coming together at the same time which unfortunately is not often.

Buffalo, I understand completely. I had sessions in the late fall and winter years ago, when I had the opportunity, the resources and to relieve.... submissive stress is the most appropriate way to say it. And I was younger. But during the warm spring and now the summer has been the time, and this year, that gets me going.

I had a session in early June, another full a week ago, and yesterday, limited in a, well, public location. Lucky no one saw us and that I have a longtime Mistress who spoils me. Saw her again today to run errands on a muggy day. Not a session but she treated me as a slut. Apart from it being a summer weekend, I'm lucky.

Of course, living in Florida, means that every session occurs when it's hot as hell.........pretty much regardless of what season it is!

I used to like Halloween. A fitting atmosphere for dungeon play. I used to love boots....so boot season was my favorite. Now I play only on occasion, the season doesn't matter. In the winter and can be tricky to plan anything in advance, Winter storms can ruin the best plans.
