I personally don't like them due to privacy issues. Almost every hotel I've ever been to noise travels and you can hear people in other rooms/hallways. Not necessarily constantly but there's also a big difference between normal conversation and many bdsm activities.

For me it was never a problem. Either I did, or the Mistresses I have seen, put music or TV just enough as background noise. For the role play I have engaged in, that seems fine. But if your tastes go to more intricate experiences, I could see where it would be a problem.

Hotel sessions always seem like settling to me.....better than nothing but certainly not my first choice. I'm a big gear fan so a well equipped dungeon or BDSM studio will always be my preference.

I've done a lot of playing in hotels. Most of the sessions have been great, but I agree about the privacy issue. I've actually had hotel staff walk in unexpectedly, which was very alarming. Fortunately nothing bad came out of that, but it took us a little while to get back in the right headspace.

I've done some but, safety concerns aside, I find they only work for me for certain scenarios. Otherwise, the vibe of a hotel room is too uniform, sterile, lackluster, boring.

But, really, I no longer offer them because there have been far too many indications isn't just not safe. Between people reporting they've found cameras or microphones in their rooms or that hotels are keeping an eye on who's coming and going, or the horror stories that were being reported, I don't know, 6-8 years ago with a handful of different hotels showing evidence of trying to kidnap single women who checked in, I just really find it all beyond my acceptable level of risk.

Same here, furfan. Being surrounded by all my gear and furniture is arousing versus the dull uniformity of many hotel rooms.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was intentional. I've read several stories from women about hotel staff coming into their rooms without knocking. It happened to me. I was barely awake and I heard the door open and someone came into the room. No knock, which is what they're supposed to do. I said "hello?" and they quietly closed the door without a word. It was eerie. Usually, I put that latch over the door so it can't be opened but forgot that time. Now I don't forget!

As in your case, it happened because we forgot to latch the door. Fortunately, the hotel staff didn't come all the way into the room so they couldn't see me. They saw Mistress, however. She told them the room was occupied and they quickly departed. It was very alarming and pretty darn awkward. My heart was going pitter patter...

The experience didn't stop me from playing in hotels though.

I don’t mind hotel sessions except for one thing I’ll mention last. I’ve had some great sessions in hotel rooms with Dommes who were travelling. Troy Orleans and Goddess Severa come to mind among others. I’ve never needed a lot of gear. I’ve always liked feeling the Dommes physical strength and power and did a lot of beat down sessions and some wrestling sessions too.

The one thing I did not like about hotel sessions was the walking in and getting to the room. I was always worried someone would recognise me which was very unlikely but the feeling was always there. Once I got into the room I felt relief.

So it was more than one person? Did they knock? Say hello? What time was it?

I'm wondering if some of these no-knock, no-hello "drop ins" are actually staff spying on people they suspect of things.
