The online adult industry is in decline, especially compared to 2019-2023 sales volume numbers. Even if you don't want to admit it, you know it's true.

However.. do YOU know where the money is going now? Because it's not totally disappearing but it IS consolidating.

I'm not going to copy the whole thread out here, you can check out her twitter...

Would you actually copy and paste it here, please? Some of us are no longer on Twitter/X. I deleted my account in January because the new terms of use were incompatible with my self-respect.

I'm very curious about her opinion on the decline of the online adult industry. Because, to me, it almost seems like I have more people reaching out for more "online" because in-person is feeling too expensive for some, which I presume is an effect of the economy.

Wait I forgot compliance!

Platforms now require updated ID docs for every performer every time it expires. Content shot 10 years ago, performer retired and unreachable? Gone.

Then the latest restrictions? Pig tails? Emojis? Normal words like drink or sleep? Hypno? Giantess?

If this is true then the era of filming days with random film subs is probably over, in 10 years (or probably less depending on when their ID expires), any content with someone you can't get updated ID from will have to be removed. Even if you trust them and they're part of your life, what if they die? No updated ID then? So just solo Domme content then?

I lost quite a few of my classic clips due to this. Person no longer alive or in contact to update. Ridiculous policy.

People keep thinking they have to accept this ever-tightening noose around their necks. "They tell me I have to jump off this cliff, so I guess I have to jump off the cliff."

If all these people who generate the revenue for these sites collectively said "no, that is ridiculous" and pulled their content down you know what would happen? They would change their policy very fucking fast.
