I don't think that is a surprise to anyone who's been paying attention. I mean Grindr practically shuts down from overuse everytime theres a GOP convention yet they constantly push the idea of a heterosexual Christian "nuclear" family.

Bimbofication is a type of sissification if you're familiar with that term, it's a gender exploration that pushes what society calls feminine so far that it becomes cartoonish. Think Barbie, a very gendered toy-- those dimensions (at least the ones Barbie had in the 90s) would look ridiculous on a human. And so do gigantic fake tits on a guy in a chatroom.

I believe that people who are extremely closeted in their gender identity or fetish interests typically hide behind the other side politically, to further distance themselves from what they're ashamed of. I would also say they tend to hate people who are living their lives freely, because they're afraid to do so themselves.
