I don’t see a problem with starting the clock the minute someone walks in but imo the session should go for the agreed on time booked. Granted sometimes a session just naturally ends early but you should still be able to talk for the remaining time before being expected to leave.ive done a lot of sessions over the years and the Dommes I’ve seen have different approaches and attitudes towards the time frame. I think for the most part most have been fair and some even generous with their time. It sucks if you are constantly being shorted especially after a paid phone consultation.
