I think I saw this film more than once when it would play at NYC rep houses, sometimes on a double bill with "Story of O." I was probably also quite nervous to be sitting alone in the audience. I remember loving the basement dungeon, the leather costumes (by Lagerfeld I think), and some of the scenes, including the one with the guy on the stretching rack. The young me would have been shocked that one day it'd be on a free cable channel in uncut form.
