I've seen references (mostly from European and UK Dommes) to using a product called Finalgon as chem heat for CBT or after CP to enhance the burn. From what I can discover online it is made in Germany and contains two active ingredients, a synthetic form of capsaicin and a dilator that speeds and enhances absorption.

Opinions are mixed but many sources seem to rank it as more intense than the capsaicin creams often used here. I see it is available in North America online and was wondering if anybody here has used it?

This test seems to indicate it is quite intense but perhaps fades faster. In my experience with capsaicin the burn took closer to 30 minutes to fade.

Okay, I think this goes back to “trying something yourself” …

I recently got Finalgon for back pain Myself - proceed with caution. ??

It is extremely intense, if you rub it in it can feel like 1.000 chillie peppers inserted with 10.000 needles. I’ve woken up in the middle of the night because it felt like My skin was literally tearing off My back. The more you rub on it - the more intense it gets… also heat will activate it. Like putting a blow dryer on it would just really make it kick.

Also it can last forever - it randomly kickes back up 16 hours later, randomly or if it’s warm (for example for Me when I am under some warm blankets at night and suddenly I want to call the fire department)

It can’t be removed by washing off, you have to use oils. I put baby oil and then baby diaper rush cream or Vaseline. If you put this on and then get into the hot shower - you will regret. This is not for the faint of heart.

I’ve been using it for about 2 Years now. Finalgon or Teufelskralle. At this point like both and have worked up a bit of a tolerance / immunity.

If you want to use this, I suggest the tiniest about - like a seed size or mixing with other lotion first time. Also to control the sensation better I suggest removing it after play time bc I find it to be unberechenbar.

Interestings. Sounds like Finalgon is quite a bit more intense.....and longer lasting. I wonder if it's the synthetic nature of the capsaicin or the dilator?.....or both? Did the substances you mentioned stop the process? I've heard things like yogurt, Olive oil or sour cream help with capsaicin.

My experience with capsaicin was plenty intense but it did fade after about 30 minutes. I certainly wouldn't want anything longer! I'm not sure if being securely bound and gagged made it easier of more difficult to bear.

I wouldn't say absolutely, positively never again but it's certainly a fairly firmish "soft" limit.

I think it’s the combination of both, the synthetic capsaicin and the vasodilator. The dilator is probably what really makes it different from standard capsaicin creams… it’s makes it go deeper and forces the sensation to be live much longer instead of letting it peak and fade… because it goes to a deeper level.

Oils can help stop the further spread and worsening of the pain, but they don’t instantly stop the burn. It’s more of a damage control, there is no on and off switch. Dairy is good if you get it inside the mouth. For skin I would use oil because washing with soap and water alone is basically useless and hot water will only may make you hate your life choices.

The 30 minute window and fade with regular capsaicin is exactly why I suggesting extra caution with Finalgon in play context.The unpredictability is the real issue in My eyes, especially with bondage, gags, or any situation where the person can’t easily communicate or self-manage
if it flares back up hours later.

Personally, I don’t think treating this like “just a stronger capsaicin“ could lead to unhappy surprises. It’s a different animal. Tiny amounts, diluted, and removed after the scene if used at all. And yes, heat + restraint can make it feel very different mentally and physically.

Start slow and work your way up. Introduce at own risk slowly and patch test. Introduce in steps. Like Me on My back I can take a pretty large amount and it will barely produce any discomfort.. it just goes in deep … but I’ve used it dozens or maybe 100 times already so I think there is some tolerance or even immunity by now.

Soft limit makes perfect sense in this case. This is one of those substances where “more intense” may not automatically mean “more fun.”

I think I will put Finalgon firmly in the "hard Limit" category.

it sounds like Capsaicin is about the edge of my tolerance and even that only on special occasions/special circumstances.
