Directories / outlets (discreet visibility)

I’m looking for recommendations for directories or platforms that are compatible with a more discreet, old-school approach of advertising.
I’ve been active in kink for many years and tend to work more “underground” rather than through heavy mainstream advertising. I don’t show my face publicly and I’ve historically maintained more of a writing-based presence (blog / long-form content) rather than a traditional commercial website.
With the disappearance of platforms like Craigslist and Backpage, I’m finding it harder to stay visible to serious, respectful people without being pushed into requirements that don’t align with how I work (requiring face photos, full ID verification uploads, glossy marketing websites, etc.).
I’m not opposed to screening, discretion, or professionalism, - quite the opposite - I’m simply looking for spaces that still accommodate privacy, selective engagement, and a more relationship-oriented dynamic and lower commercial presentation.
If anyone knows of directories, collectives, dungeons, or alternative platforms that are friendly to discreet Dommes / more lifestyle-leaning professionals, I’d appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Not sure how lifestyle you want to go but the current sites that I know most people get traffic on are BDSMprofessionals.com, Dickie Virgin, Fetlife, Reddit, and Tryst. All have vastly different rules and purposes. None compare to the amount of traffic I get from my own website.
If you decide to get on Tryst, beware they are notorious for scammers trying to phish and hack your email or account. I've found work arounds and recognize the scam instantly so it makes the amount of traffic worth it. You'll have to ID verify but you don't have to post photos of your face there.
Reddit I've never had success with, my posts seem to disappear as soon as I get them up but I hear from the more lifestyle crowd they find a lot of subs there.

If I could only chose one way to advertise I would work on my SEO. The best clients will come from google searches. This type of client tends to be more deliberate and more proactive in research rather than browsing directory photos with one hand.
That means writing a lot, A lot--a lot, 2000 words per page discussing topics your potential client might be searching. I spend about 20+ hours a week writing and tweeking my website.
I am face-out and public with all the possible ads and social media I can and I still get the best results from better google results, but it is blood, sweat, and tears to do.

Way back I used the Max Fisch guide or asked for recommendations in the MF forum but in recent years it's just been Google. Search terms like "professional dominatrix" "BDSM" and the city. Sometimes I'll add terms like "heavy bondage" or "extended sessions". For me, a good quality website with clear info, detailed equipment lists, services offered and images of both the domme (face not important) and the facility matters. A couple of short (less than 30 seconds) clips of the Domme either in session or speaking to the camera can also grab my attention and help in the decision making process

The algorithms change so much the book would be out of date by the time it hit print. Also the actual algorithm used by Google, Bing, Yahoo, Duck-duck-go, etc are secret. It's all a voodoo, rain dance anyway. Just write a lot, link to sites that are relevant, make sure your photos aren't too big.
Or you can be like me who is spending her entire Christmas break, reformatting 200 photos and writing relevant key words and alt-tag stories behind them.

Why "does size matter" for the pictures. Are large images ignored by the search engines? I never would have thought to put key words for SEOs into alt tags. Your Christmas sounds more interesting than mine. I'm binging Man In The High Castle, doing physical therapy for my knee, and then going out for Chinese food. The SEO stuff sounds unchanged in that it is still necessary to carpet bomb sites with keywords.

Wow that is a lot of hours writing and working on your website. I am impressed. That is a lot of work beyond dealing with emails and actual live sessions. Since I’ve retired and aged that is so far beyond my attention span. People never think about this stuff when they think Pro Domme.

Thanks in advance. I understand what you mean but advertising on the internet is about being public. That said, there are no requirements for what that looks like. When you say "underground" what does that mean in practical terms? You don't want to be found by people? You want to only be grouped with other underground people? People need to say the secret password to get through your door? Sorry, I jest -- all in good fun Give us a try on BDSMProfessionals.com. We're for serious providers. No one is required to show their face, provide ID, or have "glossy" websites-- but you do need to have one with some basic info, as, in this day and age, it's expected from professionals in any industry and it distinguishes you as almost-assuredly-not-a-fake in a landscape with lots and lots of scam landmines (that our clients are trying to avoid). Beyond those basic professional criteria, your rules for engagement are all your choice. But if that's beyond your interest of comfort level then try DickieVirgin.com classified section. It doesn't have SEO, so you'll only be found by the people who specifically go to that page, but there are no website requirements. You could just put an email address or phone, if you'd like. But, again, just know that clients may be wary of providers without something they can really grab onto.
