Forgive the obscure literary quote, but Stephen King once said about Shirley Jackson, “she never had to raise her voice”. That always struck me as high praise from one horror writer to another.

I’ll apologize that this a rant, but I feel like so many online Femdom providers could use a lesson in this. I don’t run into this in real life sessions. It’s not like Dommes in live sessions just start berating you (unless requested obv). But with so many online folks it seems to be the default.

I reached out online on SP today to introduce myself to someone. I knew she does irl sessions in a city I visit frequently. I didn’t mention anything about live sessions so this isn’t a ToS issue. Literally in her first message back to me she was insulting me. Like I had just said “Hi Mistress so and so, my name is.., nice to virtually meet you”. Which fine whatever I’m a big boy, my ego will be ok lol. But why, why is the assumption that all guys want this. Is this truly what most guys want online? Really just seems to be online platforms. And don’t get me started on some of the Twitter feeds…

Anyway, thanks for listening. Maybe it’s just me but I find it bizarre. But maybe that approach works, idk…
