First I like the format. Maybe I missed someone complaining about the layout or format. LI don’t think palmer was complaining about the format. I just think he meant the board could use some new additional posters which is true. We obviously lost a bunch of people from Max but max was pretty dead at the end anyway. IMO this board has been pretty busy lately which is good. It would be nice if the people reading would post more. I am number one in line guilty of reading a post, telling myself I’ll come back and respond and not doing it. I think responses feed on themselves and if someone makes a post and gets no response they are less likely to make another post or comment.

I believe it's just bloody mindedness! "If you won't play by my rules I'll take my ball and go home." As we all know MF with no moderators was a true shit show. I also think lots of the MF members have aged out of the scene. Several of the most popular Mistresses were in their 50s during MFs heyday in the late 90s and early 2000s. Many of the subs were considerably older. The only fetish ball many of these geriatric kinksters are going to be attending is in the nursing home.

I enjoy this board, and the great Mistresses who post here regularly.

I think this is at least partially directed at me because of my comment.

I want to clarify that my response was to the suggestion that "social media has taken over" when really it's that social media has evolved.
I believe that is why we are unlikely to get a lot of new users.

Again, this isn't to devalue the forum or those who maintain it administratively (thank you, DominaAdmin!) or those of us who are moderating it (so it doesn't turn into another Max) or those who contribute to the discussion (applause to those who post and comment instead of lurk). It was just some perspective.
