MF was on the slow funeral dirge for its last 15 years. I was amazed at how long it kept going. Without moderation, it became like other unpleasant places I avoid on the intertubes (4Chan, Twitter). Funny thing, when people are mean to women, the women leave.

I think a lot of people found different ways to interact, different social media sites, such as BlueSky and FetLife. (In the name of all that is holy and good, do NOT chat with Dominas on FaceBook. That place is so full of scammers.)

I think a more interesting question is why more people who aren't from Max don't come here. I'm doing my part in sending good subbies in Europe to write little stories about our encounters here. I love the reminiscing about the Naughty-Aughties and good old days of Max, but some fresh blood would be nice.
