I'm typically an anxious person, so I'm thinking that I don't have anything to worry about, but I'm posting here for peace of mind.

I reached out to a domme (who I've seen once before) last week asking to session. She got back to me amazingly quickly. We quickly nailed down a date and time, and she asked for a deposit, which I paid. She acknowledged the deposit and asked me to Email again to confirm and receive further instructions a few days later (which is today).

This morning, I wrote to her to confirm. Also (and this is why I'm worried) I included some requests and ideas for the session. I don't think I asked for anything wild or out there; in fact, it's mostly all stuff we did in our first session.

Since it's late afternoon now & I still haven't heard back and based on the fact that she was replying so quickly last week, I'm starting to get a little bit worried. Logically, I know that she could be way busier today than she was last week, and we all have a life outside of kink, but I'm just so damn anxious!

Can someone talk me down, please?

Yeah. I’d relax. How far out are you from the actual session? I’m assuming you still have some time before then? I think realistically you need to give her at least 48 hours to respond to your last email.

I can empathize but I certainly don't think you should worry yet. I'd give it at least 24-36 hours before I'd start to worry at all.

So, I see looking at your post it has been 48 hours+ since you posted. Any updates? I'd have to say at this point I too would be concerned I'd been taken.

In cases where you're not given expectations, ask for them.

Then, get to work on your anxiety.
