Advice on how to deal with anxiety-provoked IBS leading up to sessioning

Hey all, I already asked this in the Health forum, but was advised to post it here as well.
This is really hard to ask...
I am a spanko who only gets to session around once or twice a year. As I've gotten a little older, a problem I've run into is that the anticipation and anxiety that goes with the lead-up to sessioning causes my IBS to flair up. Usually, when I finally meet the domme, it seems to magically go away, but leading up to that moment, I keep having to go to the bathroom, and I feel terrified that I'll be farting or having to go during the session! (Luckily that hasn't happened).
I'm wondering if there's anyone out there that's in the same boat. If so, do you have any type of regiment you go through to prepare your digestive system before a session, like adding a supplement or cutting out certain foods?
Thanks so much in advance!

Im not a doctor, so take this at face value.
I would recommend full colon enema. Keep flushing it out, over and over and over again. Keep going until all expelled liquid is clear. I recommend doing this over multiple nights leading into the session. And watch what you eat as well - go lighter leading into the scheduled session.
30 mins prior to the session - ensure everything is expelled and clean. You can do this by yourself with a finger or a toy. This way, you ensure you are clean and ready for whatever your mistress chooses to do. There will be nothing in there. Perfectly clean = best results during session.
Again, this assumes a healthy digestive system. Do not follow this if irregular discharge or bleeding. Use common sense.
I hope this helps. I do it, but for other reasons, which I will not share on here.

If you do a clean out enema, do it three hours before! You don’t want to run to the bathroom during a session. Personally I would just fast for a while before hand and the eat something bland before hand. I suffered from IBS for most of my life then discovered that I am lactose intolerant.

Assuming you don’t have an aversion to antidiarrheals, along with doing a full clean out with an enema or suppository prior to your session taking an Imodium couldn’t hurt. Of course if you have conflicting health issues, you may want to consult an actual doctor but I see one or two clients with IBS that swear by taking an Imodium the morning (or afternoon) of our time together to further ensure that no unwanted blowouts will happen. You start to feel effects within 30 minutes of taking it and it lasts between 8 and 12 hours depending.

I know this post is asking for advice to address your ibs issues, but I think it's worth trying to address your anxiety as well.
What about the session is making you feel anxious? I'd create a few affirmations you can write down and easily repeat/glance at. Here's some examples, but they should be tweaked to address your specific anxieties:
I will be safe. This person wants to see me. This will be an amazing experience. I'm anxious about a good thing.
Or, focus about something you love about the Domme you're seeing if you start getting anxious. Do they have amazing legs? If you start getting anxious, think about how good it'd feel laying accross them. Think about what the Domme might smell like/ feel like/ etc to get your mind off being anxious. I second this advice, and I would like to add, try telling yourself, it's okay to be nervous as it's part of the experience. If you weren't anxious to ride a rollercoaster, it wasn't a very good rollercoaster. Fighting your anxiety can increase your anxiety.

This is really hard to ask... You should never feel badly for asking for help. Especially about a health and well-being matter. I am a spanko ... the anticipation and anxiety that goes with the lead-up to sessioning causes my IBS to flair up. Usually, when I finally meet the domme, it seems to magically go away, but leading up to that moment, I keep having to go to the bathroom, and I feel terrified that I'll be farting or having to go during the session! (Luckily that hasn't happened). ... do you have any type of regiment you go through to prepare your digestive system before a session, like adding a supplement or cutting out certain foods? I think that 2 or 3 days before your session you should cut out foods that you know to cause a flare up, but the root of this particular problem seems to be the anxiety. When it comes to anxiety, something I struggle with myself, I recommend CBT to begin with. And by CBT I don't mean cock and ball torture. (Though some might actually benefit from that as well!) I mean Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I won't go into too much detail here, because in all honesty people come to me for professional counseling for things like this, but you can easily look up CBT techniques and apply them to your situation.
