I looked at joining BlueSky maybe a few months ago and was reading their terms of service, privacy policy, and all that, and there was something I didn't like and I stopped and resolved to go back and finish reading.

Well, I did and I can't find it anymore. I don't know if I'm missing it or it was changed.

Anyway, here I am: mistresstissa.bsky.social There's a way to change your username/handle to your domain, so I did that: https://bsky.app/profile/mistresstissa.com

I made the plunge two days ago. So far so good!

Bluesky is easy enough to use. Almost a carbon copy of X. Maybe it could do with a few more features. But it is probably still in development.

Once you update your handle, the original handle you signed up with becomes a dead link. It also means that your original handle is up for grabs again which could make it prone to catfish accounts. To get around this, I claimed the old handle as a holding page.

I joined Bluesky about a week or so ago and am already enjoying it so much more than X! So refreshing.
