I scheduled a session with a well known Domme, gave reference, ID and was told things were good. No deposit was asked for so I asked about that 9 days before the session. Got no response so I followed up 5 days before the session. It's now 2 days prior to the session so I sent another email today. My flight is tomorrow so I need to make a decision soon. Would you cancel the session?

Assuming that you have properly followed all of the Dommes pre-session requirements and that you have reached out to her twice to confirm the session then I would send her a very polite email letting her know that you are cancelling the session primarily to avoid the expense of a flight and hotel expenses (assuming that the flight is refundable or that you can at least get a credit voucher to use toward a future flight.

I think that your email should be respectful and polite and avoid criticism, especially since she may have a good reason for not replying to either of your two previous emails such as illness or a personal issue that is consuming her time and attention. If you are so inclined, you might also note that while you are cancelling this session you would reschedule, and if necessary pay a deposit toward that session as a sign of good faith.

Just my probably flawed opinion but I would not get on an airplane and fly to session without some kind of confirmation and affirmative response from the Domme that the session was a go. Just be respectful and polite in your communication.

100% agree with nysubjack. I know it sucks to have made all the arrangements and have the session only 2 days away but unless you were travelling to her city anyway it makes no sense to continue if she has ghosted you..

Treat it like any other business meeting.

If you can't get confirmation, cancel. Explain why, apologize, and ask to reschedule.

Doesn't sound like you have a session if you haven't sent a deposit. If she has a phone number listed I would give her a buzz. Spam folders ruin half our work!

No phone number unfortunately. I was never asked to send a deposit. After some emails back and forth figuring out a date I got an email confirming the session date. Many times a deposit is required so I asked about it and never heard back.

I would check her website and social media to make sure she didn't post about being away from her computer for a few days. If you don't see that, cancel respectively.
