The French newspaper of record, Le Monde,is publishing a series of features this month on sexual habits and ideas of the Fremch people, entitled "Au lit avec des français (In Bed with the French)". In the Saturday paper (distributed in most of the country Sunday because that's how LeMonde rolls) the series has a deep dive into bdsm, "bdsm pour tous" (BDSM for all) and a subtitle that reads in part "when a taste for spanking becomes democratic."

Among the more interesting insights is that in 2002, European Union law recognized a legal right to "sexual autonomy," effectively a legal recognition of consensual bdsm.

It includes a section on Fetlife (bit, sadly, not Domina.Ms). Another oversight, fails to interview Domina M)...
