I've experienced being put in a humbler a handful of times over the years. I'm a big gear geek and they have never failed to impress me, always putting me deeper into a submissive frame of mind.

Simple, ingenious, relatively cheap and very effective they are one of the BDSM gadgets that really work as advertised.(sadly too many don't) If you are on you hands and knees you will be staying there and if standing you will be doing so awkwardly bent over in a half crouch. In either case any movement will be slow and deliberate, giving the Mistress a perfect excuse to punish you for being slow.

They don't seem to feature all that prominently in session reviews or Domme's media/websites.....and I've had far more sessions where they haven't been used or mentioned. I wonder why that is?

I’ve been in one a handful of times. They are fun, quite a mindfuck. Very aptly named as it is a very humbling experience.

I can’t say they are my favorite though. They can be a bit hard to get into. It’s also kind of an awkward position and most of the “action” ends up being behind you in my experience. So it kind of messes up the visual stimulation. I did have one double Domme session years ago where it featured quite prominently and was a total blast.

Most humblers are not one size fits all, so trying to put someone in one can be a gamble sometimes. I understand why some Dommes would prefer to stay away. I had to purchase SIX different ones until I found the perfect one.

That being said, the one I currently have I LOVE using.

I'll speak for myself but I remove nearly all those kinds of details from my testimonials for legal reasons. Some clients don't understand that talking about some things isn't a good idea.

But as far as the humbler itself, I think they're probably used more than it appears. I have several in my collection and they get used regularly.

I guess I'm just lucky (?) then. The humblers I've experienced have all been very effective on me.
