I love all kinds of hiking. As an adult, I have always chosen city life. As a child, when I did not choose well. . . Have you ever driven I-80 through Nevada? Ever looked a lone house in the middle of nowhere and thought, "Who, the fuck, lives there?" Me: raises hand. The desert has a special place in my heart, but I also love "urban hikes," too. Paris has the La Coulée Verte, which is delightful early in the morning. I'm the only one who seems to be out and about early in the morning, so it's so quiet.
