Tease/denial, or JOI, isn't aftercare. Aftercare is not supposed to be stimulating. It's the opposite. If a session is good, you've been pumped full of adrenaline, endorphins, oxytocin, cortisol, etc. Your body is in the third option of Fight or Flight—Fawn—but your body is still in fight or flight. You are literally drunk on your own hormones.

Aftercare can include several things, all of which aim to calm your parasympathetic nervous system: calm, tea, quiet talking, meditation, a warm shower, and 5-10 minutes of just chilling.

If the parasympathetic nervous system is not cooled down to a normal state, symptoms can be appetite loss, inability to sleep, inability to focus, high alert when there is no threat, agitation, anxiety, and depression. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to remedy with a warm shower and post-session chat about mundane things. (I am shocked, SHOCKED how many dungeons DO NOT have bathroom/shower facilities. I mean, what the hell.)

Sexy, stimulating "after-care" is the equivalent of a tequila shot to sober up.
