The gym is addicting. For me, it is an endorphin/adrenaline rush, and I love the progress. How cool is it when something difficult a month ago is easier? This positive addiction keeps me in a good mood.

Conversely, middle-age is terrifying. Many of my peers and elders have problems with atrophying muscles. I feel I am investing in my body for my 50s and 60s.
